Institute for Researches and Advisory Studies:
King Abdullah Institute for Researches and
Advisory Studies, King Saud University, prepared
and designed the programs of Health Sciences
International Academy which is deemed one of the
biggest elegant scientific institutions and most
experienced in this domain. Curriculums were
made and prepared for all disciplines offered by
the academy.
The programs of
Health Sciences International Academy are
approved by Saudi Organization for Health
Specialties.
Saudi
Organization for Health Specialties:
Scientific and
professional entity founded by the Royal Decree
No. R/2 (6/2/1413H) and is subject to direct
supervision of the organization represented by
central supervision committee, health institutes
managements, scientific committees, and local
supervision committees in all the governorates
all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Health Sciences
International Academy programs were classified
by the Ministry of Civil services.
Diplomas are
classified and approved by Ministry of Civil
Services 8/74 – 4591/904, 5566/904.
ISO 9001 –
ISO 2000
in all the academy branches and its
administrative and academic departments.

Salary
Academy
Graduate Salary:
Male and Female Graduate of the academy are then
assigned to the second
level of the first grade, health cadre, having a
monthly salary of SR 4800 plus
20% full time work allowance where the total salary is
SR 5760. In addition
another SR 500 – SR 1500 are then paid to individual
working in the psychology
clinic, SR 200 – SR 1000 to individual working in the
isolation hospitals and SR
400 as transportation allowance in accordance with the
civil service ministry
classification and the health posts payroll
classification issued by the ministry
pursuant to letter No 30520 dated 16/7/1426H.

Deployment of branches all over the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia:
The academy branches are deployed all over the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the geographic
distribution was considered. Therefore, it is
the biggest health academy where branches up to
date are 34 branches of which 23 for boys and 7
for girls.

Medical Profession
ethics:
The academy
solely provides curriculums for all its students
titled "work ethics in health professions" where
the work in the health professions and medical
professions is one of the most elegant and
significant professions in the community as it
deals with the most
significant
property of human "its health". This profession
is essential and it is essential that each
practitioner of this honest profession should be
at high level of ethics and commitment and while
avoiding what might violate the health
profession.
6.
English Language and Computer:
The Academy is keen to qualify the male and
female students and conducted field studies to
deduct the scientific level of health institutes
graduate in order to acknowledge the obstacles
which prevent the students of leveraging their
scientific gaining level. The study main points
focus one student background in English
Language, medical terms, computer. In turn, the
academy prepared special program for English
language that qualify the student to work in the
health sector and introduces computer skills and
its medical applications. The program execution
was assigned to Gulf Company for training and
education where the company through direct
English provides integrated English language and
medical terms program. The academy also assigned
New Horizon to provide computer programs. In
this regard, the student study English language
and medical terms in three academic years and
computer for one full year to qualify graduate
student to implement and use computer skills and
master English language besides its major
specialty.
7.
Clinical training and
interim period:
The academy is
keen to leverage its male and female student
levels to acquire the scientific skills during
the interim period in qualified hospitals that
implement an accurate mechanism for student
follow up through weekly meetings with the
training supervisors in the academy and
hospitals doing training all over the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia.
8.
Uniform
Exams:
Exams were
uniformed in all the branches where it is
centrally prepared in the headquarters to
ensure full coverage of the curriculums.
Random samples were selected of student's
responses for review and assure the level of
knowledge gaining.
9.
Graduate follow up and employment:
The Health Sciences international academy
role is not limited to student's
qualification in health specialties rather
it extends to include the students follow up
after diploma. The academy coordinates with
health governmental and private sectors to
employ its graduates in liaison with
planning and academic development
department.

Post
Graduate Follow up:
The academy
share its male and female students the
desire to obtain the BA in liaison with
specific Arabian universities.

Branches computer interconnection:
Branches were
connected through computer network to follow
up the academic and administrative affairs
and knowledge the student knowledge gaining
level as well as the level of teaching board
and scientific subject taught.
12.
Educational cadres and administration board:
Elite of physicians and academics were
nominated through male supervisory board and
female supervisory board to ensure
implementation of highest technical criteria
for each program for higher educations
students to supervise the implementation of
academy program and follow up the
professional performance of teachers and
students knowledge gaining level.
13.
Recruitments of qualifications and unique
experiences:
The academy desires to have high level of
administrative and academic performance and thus it recruited qualifications
and unique experiences of physicians having PhD to work in academic general
management and supervise the programs and branch managements to leverage the
academic and administrative performance to the international criteria and
regulations. As a result, a contract was concluded with one specialized
company to implement quality.
14.
National Contribution:
The academy acknowledge that the role of
educational institute exceeds students scientific qualification to cover
student character polishing, planting of gratitude and development of
national awareness. From this stand point, the academy organized the second
competition under its participation in the national campaign against
terrorism (Extreme and terrorist concept and techniques if immunity) of
which copies were submitted to HRH Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, Crown
Prince, Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation, and General
Inspector. Furthermore, the academy organization last year, the cultural
competition for its male and female students in all branches titled
(Terrorism and its impact on society of which copies were submitted to HRH
Prince NAIF Bin Abdul-Aziz Minister of Interior. The academy management
board and students elite were honored to meet his HRH Minister of Interior.
On line with the directives of the state and as deemed to honor the duty
martyrs, the academy provides scholarships for the martyrs' children in all
the branches and disciplines.
15.
Community Service:
The Health Sciences International Academy
participates in the Health companies held and supervised by health affairs
all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The academy participates in several
national events and activities which aim to server the community and the
pilgrims. The participation extended to include all the cultural, social and
health activities organized by government sectors all over the Kingdom in
liaison with the authorities and our branches.

Advisory board:
What makes the academy
different than the others is the presence of advisory board which consists
of specialists, experienced and scientifically qualified individuals of
different health sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Moreover, there is
female advisory board which includes qualified members as the first female
advisory board.

to the academy branches.

of sub-committees of the council.

Scholarships:
From the stand point of the Health Sciences
International Academy common sense toward the community and as a
participation to develop and support health education in the Kingdom and as
a commitment to achieve its message which is based on the participation in
nationalizing of health professions in the Kingdom based on high
professional and scientifically principals, the academy provide many
scholarships for beneficiaries throughout annual competitions, which prizes
are scholarships.
Furthermore, the academy provide other
scholarships to charity organizations beneficiaries to subside charity and
support needed families such as orphans society in Riyadh, Education House
in BURIDAH and other charity associations.
Furthermore, the academy in light of its
anti terrorism participation and as a symbol of embodying the consolidation
of the society, provided scholarships for desirous to join the academy of
martyrs boys and girls in all disciplines and specialties as gratitude of
faith and appreciation.

Transportation:
The academy was keen to provide all
convenience methods for students and provided suitable transportation means
to transport female students from and to the academy to all other regions in
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
